Veronica Roth and the Blog Post of Awesomeness

If you noticed that this post title has a very Harry Potter-esque feel to it, then you should realize the epicness behind it.

It should be known that when one of us gets an agent, us bloggers have an uproar. There's cheering, there's laughing, there's chaos in the forums or our blogs, there's dancing (Need I link back to our premiere video?). GotYa gets excited and why shouldn't we? Getting an agent is a HUGE deal. All that pain and struggle to take your shiny piece of art and place it into willing hands is overwhelming. Knowing that you have succeeded at it all gives the feeling that chocolate is raining down upon you...in Disneyland...with Edward Cullen proclaiming his undying love (Haha, get it--undying!).

Now what would happen when we find out that one of our own has snagged a sexy THREE BOOK DEAL?! I believe the response is something like this:

It was reported yesterday on Publisher Weekly that our very own Veronica Roth's three-book deal has been sold to HarperCollins' Katherine Tegen Books. We're all thrilled, Vee! I'm sure she'll be able to fill us all in with more info to come.

And while I'm at it, another big congratulations to Agent Joanna Stampfel-Volpe with Nancy Coffey Literary, and HarperCollins editor Molly O'Neill.

Let's show them some blogger luuuuuurrrrrrvvvvvve!! (And maybe Vee will do the victory dance for us again :D )
